Born and raised in Northwestern Pennsylvania, John earned his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University before relocating to California in 1989. There, he married his wife, Lydia, and raised their two daughters while building a successful career in mortgage banking. Prior to joining Kash Mortgage Group, John served as a Wholesale Regional Production Manager for ComUnity Lending, a role he held until the 2008 mortgage crisis prompted a strategic pivot in his career.

Seizing that moment as an opportunity, John transitioned into real estate, becoming a licensed Real Estate Broker in both California and Florida. Today, he remains actively involved in both real estate sales and mortgage lending, a rare combination that gives clients and partners a significant advantage. With deep insight into how deals are structured from start to finish, John is often described as a true “unicorn” in the industry.
